   To protect and preserve Sleepy Creek and its watershed and to educate the
community on the value of this precious natural resource in Morgan County,
WV.

Our Goals

  • Protect and restore water quality and living resources.
  • Support the Save Our Streams river/creek monitoring system.
  • Promote active participation of area schools in developing student
    programs related to protecting their environment and watershed.
  • Serve as a resource to our communities on watershed issues.
  • Encourage developers, visitors, and landowners to participate in the
    steward ship of the Sleepy Creek watershed.
  • Collaborate with other conservation organizations on issues affecting
    our watershed.

Sleepy Creek is an outstanding natural resource in Morgan County,
WV that has drawn hundreds of visitors, "weekenders", and retirees
to its cool banks.
